Amidst the turbulence of the COVID-19 pandemic, I, like countless others, found myself grappling with profound shifts in my life. Yet, within these challenges emerged a steadfast determination to pursue and complete my college education. In 2022, I proudly attained my Associate of Arts in Psychology from Sandhills Community College. Fueled by an enduring curiosity about human behavior and a fervent dedication to social justice, I found my path converging towards the Bachelor of Social Work program at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. As I approach the culmination of this transformative journey, set to graduate in May of 2024, I am filled with anticipation for the myriad possibilities that lie ahead.
